Augmented Reality

Augmented Reality allows virtual objects and information to be overlaid onto what people are seeing right now.

You can see this in Google Maps, where it allows you to hold your phone camera up and see arrows overlaid onto the street showing you where to go.

Businesses are trialing Augmented Reality to assist engineers in the field, by giving them additional information about a building site or equipment they are repairing.

Our opinion

Trial  Definitely worth trying on a project that can handle the risk.
