Pocketworks was formed in 2012 to help companies create mobile apps and digital products that make a positive impact on their business, customers and society.
We build products for our clients and sometimes in mutual partnerships with them. We have a few of our own products too that are growing. Our apps are often a blend of native apps, web apps, APIs and integrations.
You'll be working in a team is that is small and self-organising. We have a flat hierarchy, expect you to “own it” and focus on outcomes. We're friendly and communicate often. We also regularly arrange to meet up whenever we can.
We're looking for an iOS Developer to join our small digital product development team to help us deliver scalable and user-friendly products.
At Pocketworks, you will be reporting to the Managing Director and be responsible for working on 2-3 different products a year, some of which you'll architect from scratch, others you will be helping build features on. You will have a chance to work on products that span a range of sectors such as travel, engineering and healthcare.
We are looking for someone who is able to bring new ideas to the table and help us expand our capabilities in the mobile space. Bringing with them the ability to leverage the latest advancements on iOS and get the most out of the technology for our clients.
We also produce cross platform apps using Flutter, our ideal candidate would either already have experience with Flutter or have a willingness to learn and adopt this technology alongside your core iOS skills.
This is a remote position, however we do ask that you are based in the UK or Europe to ensure that we have sufficient cross-over with the rest of the team in terms of timezones and travel. We also have an office in Leeds, UK that we use from time to time. Which you are free to use whenever you like.
We’ll also fly you out to our full-team retreat & workshop event twice a year, which you should come to (it will be fun!).
